What Will You Do?

Join our team as an Insurance Risk Consultant (Safety) and partner with business owners across Central and Southeast Texas to foster safer and more productive workplaces. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through the development of safety and risk management programs, ultimately enhancing employee safety and optimizing insurance costs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site consultations to advise clients on reducing risks. 
  • Evaluate risks and provide necessary survey information for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Federated Insurance's risk management policies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the property/casualty insurance business.
  • Manage workload efficiently within your assigned territory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Preferred experience in insurance loss control, occupational or industrial safety, risk management, or fire prevention.
  • Proficient in computer applications with strong time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate.
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight 6 to 8 nights per month.
  • Applicants must reside or be willing to reside in the San Antonio, Texas area to be considered for this position.
