What Will You Do?

As a Lead Graphic Designer at Federated, you'll play a key role in driving a dynamic and collaborative team to produce high-quality designs for print and digital channels. You will oversee projects, guiding ideas from concept to customer distribution for both internal and external use.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading major projects; designing, and collaborating with the graphic design team as they create, design and deliver print and digital pieces that align with company brand guidelines.
  • Serves as a resource for an advertising team and delegates tasks within the team.
  • Facilitates technical training and supports on-boarding of new team members.
  • Works with business partners, the creative team, and vendors on the front-end of a project through completion; and ensures quality before approving the distribution of materials. Provides alternative, cost-effective and/or cross-functional solutions, as needed.
  • Partners with department leadership to develop strategic solutions for complex challenges, considering long-term budget and resource planning.
  • Ensures corporate brand image and standards are met.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Communications, Graphic Art and Design, or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Strong knowledge of print production processes, file formats, digital and print design principles, email design, and photography.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in graphic design demonstrating strong creativity and design skills, as well as the ability to lead projects, present concepts, and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and/or personnel information.

Pay range is $35.90 - $48.50 per hour.  Pay may vary depending on job-related experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information can be discussed with a member of the Recruiting team.
